
đź”” NCCC User Tip of the Week: Managing Alerts & Notifications
Alerts and Notifications help you stay informed about what’s happening inside the NCCC platform—even when you’re not logged in. You can choose how (in-app only, email, or text) and how often (real time, hourly, daily, or weekly) you want to be notified.
 Where to Manage Your Settings:
You can access Alert Settings from several places in the platform:
- Case Management Tools → Global Menu → Messaging & Alerts
- User Tools (gear icon in the upper right corner) → Alert Settings
 What You Can Customize:
- Notification Method – Choose how you want to receive alerts: in-app only, email, or text message.
- Frequency – Adjust how often alerts come through to match your workflow.
- Customized Alerts – Use the plus sign (+) to tailor settings by alert type or specific clients.
For example, if a client is experiencing acute challenges and you’ve sent multiple referrals, you may want to receive more frequent updates just for that client. Click the (+), select their name, and follow the prompts to customize the notification schedule. All other clients will still follow your default notification cadence.
💡 Reminder: Don’t forget to click Save after making any changes.
