NCCC Tip of the Week: Choosing the Right Printed Consent Option
✨This week’s tip is all about making sure you’re selecting the best option when printing consent forms. Whether you like to use pre-printed forms or prefer to have the system fill in client details automatically, understanding the difference will help keep everything running smoothly.✨
Here’s a quick guide to help you choose the right option:
Step 1: Choose How to Print the Consent Form
You’ll see two print options:
- A. Update & Print
Use this if you want the form to include the client’s name and details automatically from the system. - B. Use Pre-Printed Form
Choose this if you already have blank forms printed out and don’t need the form filled with client info.
Example: If you carry around blank consent forms for clients to sign on the go, choose this option.
Step 2: Upload the Signed Consent Form
Once the client has signed the form (no matter which option you used to print it):
- Click “Upload Consent” in the system.
- Find the scanned copy of the signed form on your computer.
- Upload it to the client’s profile.
**Important Reminder**
After the client signs the consent form, make sure to upload it to their profile within 5 days.
If you don’t, their status will change to “No Consent,” and some features will stop working for them.
Hope this helps clarify things and keeps your work moving along smoothly! As always, feel free to reach out if you have questions or need a hand.
